Women's basketball kicks off Wolfie's Story Time

Head women's basketball coach Beth O'Boyle and members of the Stony Brook women's basketball team recently helped kick off Wolfie's Story Time, a special fall reading program hosted by the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library in Setauket during which Wolfie and Stony Brook student-athletes will read to local elementary students.

O'Boyle along with seniors Tamiel Murray (Teaneck, N.J.) and Misha Horsey (Wyncote, Pa.) and junior Sam Landers (Springfield, Va.) read stories such as the Monster Who Ate My Peas, The Wolf's Story, One Eye! Two Eyes! Three Eyes! and the The Contest Between the Sun & and the Wind to the assembled group of children.

The Seawolves start official practice on Oct. 3 and open the 2011-12 season on Friday, Nov. 11 at Fairfield with the home opener coming against George Mason on Nov. 21. 

Season tickets for the women's basketball team are now on sale through the Stony Brook Athletics Ticket Office, and individual game tickets will go on sale on Oct. 1.
