Stony Brook, N.Y. -

The National Lacrosse League officially kicked off its 26th season last Saturday, and three former Stony Brook players - Jordan McBride '11, Rhys Duch '08 and Kevin Crowley '11 - will represent the Seawolves in the NLL this year.

Jordan McBride | Mammouth 20, Swarm 14

McBride opened his professional indoor career with a goal and an assist in Colorado's 20-14 win over Minnesota before 14,106 fans at the Pepsi Center. The New Westminster, British Columbia native scored in the third quarter as the Mammoth pulled away in the second half.

McBride finished his illustrious Stony Brook career with 175 goals, tied for the 10th most in Division I history.  He's the only Seawolf to score 40 goals in each of his four seasons.

Rhys Duch | Roughnecks 13, Stealth 10

Despite a game-high four goals and two assists from Duch, Washington fell to Calgary, 13-10.  Duch, who earned All-Pro honors last season, led the Stealth with eight loose balls.  The 2009 NLL Rookie of the Year is in his third season.

A two-time All-America East selection, Duch totaled 56 goals and 50 assists at Stony Brook.  He tallied 28 assists as a senior, ranking fifth in the country in assists per game.

Kevin Crowley | Knighthawks 22, Wings 12

Crowley was one of Philadelphia's stars in a 22-12 loss to Rochester.  He scored three goals and added five assists for a team-high eight points.  Crowley was the first pick of the 2011 NLL Entry Draft.

Crowley finished his storied Stony Brook career with 131 goals and 101 assists, making the New Westminster, British Columbia native as one of a handful of players in NCAA history with 100 or more goals and assists.  A two-time All-American, Crowley was named the 2011 USILA Midfielder of the Year.
