About the Game: Stony Brook will try to return to the win column on Saturday afternoon, traveling to take on first-place Boston University. The Seawolves are looking for their first victory over BU since Feb. 10, 2007.

Meet the Seawolves: Senior Whitney Davis scored 16 points for the second consecutive game on Wednesday against BU and has scored in double-figures in six of her last seven games. She is averaging 12.1 points per game on 42.9 percent shooting during that stretch. Senior Tamiel Murray dished out a career-high seven assists last Saturday against Albany and then matched that total against UMBC.

Scouting BU: Boston University has won 11 straight following a 73-50 victory at Maine on Wednesday. BU enters this weekend's play in first place in the America East, a game and a half ahead of second-place Albany. The Terriers are led by 2011 America East Player of the Year Chantell Alford, who is averaging 14.3 points per game since the start of conference play. Sophomore Rashidat Agboola ranks in the top 10 in both scoring (11.3 points per game) and rebounding (8.2 per game) during America East play while junior guard Mo Moran is averaging 11.0 points per contest. BU leads the America East in scoring offense, field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense during conference play.

Last time out: Junior Jessica Previlon scored a career-high 16 points and added 11 rebounds but Erin Brown scored a game-high 21 points to lead the UMBC Retrievers to a 63-51 victory over the Stony Brook women's basketball team on Wednesday at Pritchard Gymnasium. It was first career double-double for Previlon, who went 7-for-10 from the field and also blocked two shots. Senior Whitney Davis (Muskegon, Mich.) tallied 16 points for the second straight game and senior Tamiel Murray (Teaneck, N.J.) added seven assists and eight rebounds.
