Men's Lacrosse picked to finish second in America East

Feb. 9, 2012

Cambridge, Mass. -

Stony Brook University's men's lacrosse team has been picked to finish second in the America East, the conference announced Thursday.

The Seawolves picked up one first-place vote as coaches were unable to vote for their own team.

Hartford is the unanimous pick to win the conference title, receiving all five votes.

Despite the graduation of 11 seniors, led by all-time program greats in Kevin Crowley and Jordan McBride, first-year head coach Jim Nagle has tri-captains - Kyle Belton, Robbie Campbell and Kyle Moeller - ready to lead the Seawolves back to their fourth straight America East Championship appearance.

Stony Brook opens its season at Fairfield on February 18.
