Cambridge, Mass. - Senior Kyle Moeller (South Setauket, N.Y.) of the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team has been named the America East's Fans' Choice Player of the Game. Moeller received 29 percent (145 votes) of the nearly 500 votes casted.

A first team All-America East selection last season, Moeller tallied 30 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers, helping the Seawolves to a conference-best scoring defense of 9.43 goals per game.

Stony Brook won its third straight America East regular season title with a 12-11 win over Albany last Saturday. The top-seeded Seawolves will host #4 Hartford Wednesday at 7 p.m.
