Stony Brook, N.Y. - Due to winter weather conditions affecting travel in the Northeast Region, the Stony Brook baseball team's season-opening series at Southern Mississippi has been cancelled. The series will not be rescheduled.

Stony Brook's 2014 season opener will now take place Feb. 21 at Florida International as part of a three-game series in Miami.
