Last Time Out
Three Seawolves posted double-doubles, with senior guard Chikilra Goodman leading the pack on 21 points and 16 boards as Stony Brook took down UMass Lowell, 79-68, Saturday at the Tsongas Center. Senior guard Teasha Harris recorded career highs of 17 points and 11 boards for the first double-double of her career, and junior guard Jessica Ogunnorin tallied 10 points and 12 boards. Sophomore forward Brittany Snow scored 12 points, while junior forward Sabre Proctor finished with 10 points to round out a balanced offensive effort that saw five Seawolves score in double figures. Stony Brook pulled down season-high 59 boards and held the River Hawks to 35 rebounds. The Seawolves used a 19-2 run to take a 54-42 lead on a Harris triple at the 12 minute mark and held off a late rally to secure the road win.
Scouting the Retrievers
UMBC (3-22, 2-11) claimed its third conference victory of the season with a 77-62 triumph over Vermont Sunday at the RAC Arena. Taylor McCarley paced five Retrievers in double figures with 18 points. Sara Tarbert leads UMBC in points and rebounds at 13.4 points and 6.8 boards. The Retrievers are tied for the league lead in blocked shots (3.0) thanks in large part to Bridget O'Donnell's conference-high 1.8 rejections per game.

Seawolves on the Rise
The Seawolves notched their best record through 20 games in Division I program history (15-5) and have already passed their win total from last year's 14-win turnaround campaign. They posted school records of nine wins and a .692 winning percentage in regular-season non-conference play. Stony Brook's 18 wins are tied for the second-most triumphs in Division I history with the 1999-00 and 2006-07 teams. The Seawolves won 20 games in 2005-06.
