Riverdale, N.Y. - The Stony Brook volleyball team was defeated in four sets (12-25, 19-25, 25-23, 25-27) by Manhattan Tuesday night at Draddy Gymnasium. With the loss, the Seawolves fall to 1-3.

Highlights
- Stony Brook erased a 23-18 deficit in the third set to win the frame 25-23. Freshman Morgan Kath (Milwaukee, Wis.) had two aces, two assists and a kill during the run.
- Kath finished the match with 36 assists, 10 digs, six aces, and four kills.
- Senior Kathy Fletcher (West Chicago, Ill.) had 14 kills and 11 digs.
- Freshman McKyla Brooks (Buffalo, N.Y.) tallied 11 kills on a .391 hitting percentage.
- The Seawolves recorded 10 aces in the match.

- Stony Brook drops to 7-6 against Manhattan in the Division I era.
- Senior Stephanie McFadden (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) and sophomore Courtney Scanlan (Salamanca, N.Y.) made their 2015 debuts Tuesday night.
