A Family Affair
Stony Brook RBs
Stacey Bedell and
Jordan Gowins share more than just the carries out of the backfield, the two are first cousins. Bedell, a junior from Mastic Beach, N.Y., and Gowins, a sophomore from Bellport, N.Y., have family blood running through their veins. So far in 2016 the duo has combined to carry the ball 183 times for 809 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Double Trouble
Stony Brook RBs
Stacey Bedell (138) and
Jordan Gowins (108) became the first pair of Seawolves to each rush for 100 yards in the same game since Bedell joined
Isaiah White last year against Central Connecticut. Bedell and Gowins became the 20th duo to reach the milestone in the same game in Stony Brook history.
