Hillier will be one of ten members inducted into the Hall of Fame. The Seawolves' Associate Head Coach rejoined the Stony Brook staff in September of 2016, helping guide the program to its most successful season in program history in 2017. Stony Brook went 20-2 last season, aappearing in its first NCAA quarterfinal. Under Hillier's tutelage, the Seawolves rose from 69th to 18th in the nation in draw controls per game, while sophomore
Keri McCarthy set the program single-season draw control record with 106.
The Farmingdale native was a member of Head Coach
Joe Spallina's staff in 2012, then spent four seasons at Boston University. The Terriers advanced to the Patriot League semifinals in all three years in the conference, along with a Patriot League title game appearance in 2014.
Prior to her first stint with the Seawolves, Hillier spent three years on the staff at LIU Brooklyn. Hillier is a 2007 graduate of Hofstra, where she was a two-time All-American and four-time All-CAA selection.
