WASHINGTON – Stony Brook women's lacrosse senior
Kylie Ohlmiller (Islip, N.Y.) has been selected as one of the five finalists for the Tewaaraton Award, given to the top player in collegiate lacrosse. The Tewaaraton Foundation announced the five men's and women's finalists on Thursday evening during a special reception at the University Club of Washington, D.C.
Ohlmiller has had another record-breaking season for the Seawolves so far in 2018. The senior now has 145 total points this year, which ranks No. 1 nationally. Ohlmiller also leads the nation in total assists (64), and has now recorded 18-straight games with 5 or more points, and five games with 10-plus points. Ohlmiller became the NCAA Division I career leader for both points and assists on Saturday, April 21 vs. UMBC, and is just 20 points away from breaking her own single-season record for points (2017, 164 points).
The winner of the 2018 Tewaaraton Award will be announced on May 31 in Washington, D.C.
