STONY BROOK, N.Y. — All-American Ally Kennedy and her Stony Brook women's lacrosse teammates have lofty expectations for the 2020 season.

"Team-wise, we will not settle for anything less than a national championship," said Kennedy, who enters her senior season. "That's always going to be the goal."

The women's lacrosse community clearly believes the Seawolves are in contention.

In the newly released Nike/US Lacrosse preseason Division I poll, the Seawolves — the seven-time-defending America East champions — check in at No. 12.
