BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – The Stony Brook swimming and diving team picked up wins in four events in a dual meet against St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday at the SFC Aquatic Center. Despite a strong effort by Stony Brook, the Seawolves fell to the Terriers, 130-113.
 
Senior Maddy Enda secured Stony Brook's first win of the day with a final time of 59.17 in the 100 butterfly. Junior Mary Kate Conway kept the momentum rolling for the Seawolves as she touched the wall in 53.89 to earn a first-place finish in the 100 freestyle.
 
Junior diver Sara DiStefano took home a first-place finish in the 3-meter diving with a final mark of 223.55.
 
The Stony Brook 200 freestyle relay squad ended the meet with a bang securing a first-place finish with a final time of 1:39.84.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

"Today was our first travel meet of the season and we came up just short of our goal today. We will learn and prepare for our next travel meet next weekend to keep things moving in the right direction! Still a lot of great things at today's meet and I have enjoyed watching these ladies improve in areas each meet," said head coach Mark Anderson.
