PHILADELPHIA,  Pa.- Fresh off an impressive showing at the Fordham Invitational, the Stony Brook tennis team wrapped up its fall schedule with several strong performances at the ITA Northeast Regional this past weekend.

The Seawolves picked up 11 total match wins at the Northeast Regional.

Stony Brook continued its strong singles play from prior tournaments to open the weekend. Both Lorin Tilipman and Elena Lobo-Corral won their first two matches to advance to the main draw. Cornelia Bruu-Syversen also won in the opening round of the qualifying draw.

Bouncing back from a qualifying draw loss, Mila Charles responded with a pair of clutch consolation draw victories. Lobo-Corral also picked up two additional wins in the consolation draw.

In doubles competition, the Seawolves added two more wins from the pairings of Sara Medved/Bruu-Syversen and Palladino/Lobo-Corral.
