STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Stony Brook University baseball head coach Matt Senk and the program revealed their 2025 schedule this afternoon, highlighted by marquee matchups at Chapel Hill, two visits to Florida, and 24 contests at Joe Nathan Field.

The Seawolves will open the season with a 10-game road stretch, beginning with a three-game series against Bethune-Cookman (Feb. 14-16) in Daytona Beach, marking the first meeting between the two programs. The road trip continues with another first-time opponent, Florida Gulf Coast (Feb. 21-23), before a high-profile three-game series at UNC (Feb. 28-March 2), facing the reigning Chapel Hill Regional champions.

Returning north, Stony Brook will visit Fordham (March 4) before hosting Niagara (March 7-9) in the first of seven straight games at Joe Nathan Field. The homestand includes a non-conference tilt with in-state rival St. John's (March 11) and a weekend series against Seton Hall (March 14-16).

The Seawolves will then head to Rider (March 19) for a midweek game before opening Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play with a three-game series at Delaware (March 21-23). Stony Brook returns home to host Iona (March 25) and Northeastern (March 28-30) in their first CAA home series of the season.

April kicks off with a home matchup against Manhattan (April 1) before a trip to North Carolina to take on North Carolina A&T (April 4-6), a team Stony Brook holds a 3-0 all-time record against. The Seawolves then return to Long Island for a midweek game against Sacred Heart (April 8) and a three-game series with Campbell (April 11-13).

A short drive to Hempstead will pit the Seawolves against Hofstra (April 18-20) before heading to Connecticut to face Central Connecticut State (April 22) in non-conference play. Stony Brook follows up with a five-game homestand, including games against Columbia (April 23), a CAA weekend series versus William & Mary (April 25-27), and a midweek clash with Fairfield (April 29).

The final stretch of the regular season features seven of the last 10 games on the road. The Seawolves travel to Baltimore to face Towson (May 2-4), followed by a road rematch with St. John's (May 6). A series in Wilmington against the defending CAA champions UNCW (May 9-11) wraps up the road schedule. Stony Brook will conclude the regular season at Joe Nathan Field with Senior Weekend, hosting Monmouth (May 15-17).

The 2025 CAA Baseball Championship will take place at Patriots Point in Charleston, South Carolina (May 21-24). As the Seawolves embark on their third season in the CAA, they aim to capture their first conference title.
