Women's Cross Country Places Sixth At 2025 CAA Championships, As Goslar Earns All-CAA Honors

LAKEWOOD, N.J. — Stony Brook women's cross country competed at the 2025 CAA Cross Country Championships on Friday morning. The Seawolves placed sixth out of 12 teams, scoring 161 points. Shaylen Goslar was Stony Brook's top runner, securing All-CAA honors with an 11th-place finish.

The Seawolves posted three top-45 placements on the day, with their best placement coming from Goslar, who finished 11th with a 21:20.80 clocking good for a new PR in the 6K. Her strong performance garnered her an All-CAA distinction. Danielle Cirrito (27th) and Amelie Guzman (41st) were Stony Brook's other top-45 finishers.

Alejandra Garcia (53rd), Sarah Williams (57th), Alexis Buskey (66th), Logan Barsalow (77th), Sophia Squires (79th), Mia Sandolo (80th), and Kayla Holliday rounded out the Seawolf runners at the 2025 CAA Championships.

Stony Brook will run again in two weeks for the 2025 NCAA Northeast Regionals. This year's Reginoals will emanate from Hopkinton, New Hampshire, and will take place on Friday, November 14.
