RICHMOND, Va. - Stony Brook men's soccer freshman Ryan Farr was named the CAA Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

Farr tallied an assist in Stony Brook's lone match of the week, a 2-2 draw on the road at Rhode Island. The assist was Farr's second of the season, increasing his freshman campaign point total to six through 11 matches. Farr's six points are tied for third-most on the team, while his two helpers are fourth-most.

Stony Brook returns to action this weekend, hosting crosstown rival Hofstra on Saturday, October 11. The second rendition of the Battle of Long Island this season is scheduled for a 6:31 pm start at LaValle Stadium, streaming live on FloCollege.
