STONY BROOK, N.Y. -
Erik Pratt continues to pick up the awards this week as he was named one of five Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association on Wednesday.
Last week, Pratt led the Seawolves with 57 points (28.5 ppg), 17 assists, 21 field goals (.525 FG%), and 10 free throws, as well as totaling 10 rebounds, five three-pointers, two steals, and two blocks. He began the week with an 18-point effort vs. Hofstra to extend the winning streak against Stony Brook's biggest rival to four in a row.
Then, Pratt had a historic performance on Saturday vs. Charleston to lock in the award after setting career highs with 39 points (seventh all-time), 13 assists (third all-time), and 13 field goals, as well as finishing with a .542 FG%, four three-pointers, nine free throws, and seven rebounds. Per Elias Sports Burea, Pratt is the only Division player over the last 20 years to record at least 35 points and 13 assists with two or fewer turnovers.
Pratt also took home CAA Player of the Week and the MBWA Player of the Week honors for his performance over the weekend.
Also earning the award this week are Wisconsin's John Blackwell, Florida's Rueben Chinyelu, Maryland's Diggy Coit and Kennesaw State's RJ Johnson.
