Boston, MA - Beth Arikian, Kerri McCabe, Emily Snyder and Kristin Lynch all scored goals as Stony Brook (2-10-2|2-5-1 America East) thumped Northeastern (6-4-4|2-3-3) in a stunner Sunday afternoon, 4-0.

Arikian took the rebound off a Krish Zagura shot and fired a laser from 25 yards out the found the bottom right corner of the net at the 13:24 mark.

McCabe tallied her second goal of the season in the 32nd minute, taking a feed from sophomore Sarah Greenberg to give Stony Brook a 2-0 lead.

Snyder got into the act less than six minutes later, giving the Seawolves a commanding 3-0 halftime lead with a shot from 35 yards out that rippled the top right corner of the net.

The Seawolves added insurance on Kristin Lynch's header off Leanna Yust's feed to make it 4-0.

Stony Brook has now scored more goals in its last four games - eight - than it had in its previous 10 games - seven. The four goals also markd the first time in 20 games the Seawolves have scored more than three times.

Lori Nelson made six saves in posting her second shutout of the season.
