UP NEXT: The Seawolves wrap up the 2001 season with a pair of games this week. SB takes on St. John's on the road on Wednesday and wraps up the season on Saturday against America East rival Albany.

STREAK SNAPPED: The Seawolves' season-high three-game win streak was snapped with a 3-2 heartbreaking overtime loss to Hofstra on Sunday. SB rallied from a 1-0 deficit to take a 2-1 lead but the Pride evened the scored at two on a penalty kick with eight minutes remaining. The Pride got the game winner in the first overtime, sending SB to its first loss in its last four outings. Stony Brook's late season surge had given them hope for an America East postseason berth, but the loss to Hofstra mathematically eliminated them from playoff contention.

LEAVE IT TO GREENIE: Sarah Greenberg has been a force for the Seawolves in the last three weeks. On Sunday, she had a goal and an assist in the loss to Hofstra. She has four points in her last four games.

McCABE MOVES UP: Kerri McCabe had a goal and two assists last week. Her goal moves her into fifth place all-time, she now has 59 career points which also places her fifth on the all-time scoring list.

USING HER HEAD: Kristin Lynch has scored three goals in her last four games, including a pair in last week's 2-1 win over Columbia. The senior defended scored all three goals using her head, two of which came on McCabe corner kicks in the win over CU. Lynch now has 10 career goals - seven have come on corner kicks.

SPECIAL K: Krisha Zagura notched her second career multiple goal game with a pair of goal in the 4-0 win over Drexel on Friday. The win was Stony Brook's third straight.

NEWS AND NOTES: Jen Fontanetta notched her first goal of the season against Drexel . . . Stony Brook's three seniors will be honored before the final home game on Saturday . . . defenders Kristin Lynch, Lisa Mariano, Maggie Haren and Brittany Norwood have combined to limit opponents to only four goals in the last four games - including two shutouts.
