Women's Soccer goalkeeper Marisa Viola has been named the America East Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Viola, an America East all-rookie selection last season, garners player of the week for the first time this season.
Viola has been terrific in net this season with a 0.79 goals against average. Dating back to the second half against Fordham, Viola has not allowed a goal which spans over 251 minutes.
