Stony Brook, N.Y. - Senior Mike Errigo (Bayside, N.Y.) was named the SimplexGrinnell Stony Brook Athlete of the Week on Monday after he struck out a career-high 11 batters to pick up the victory in the Seawolves 16-3 win over Albany on Saturday.

Errigo went 7.0 innings against the Great Danes, allowing just two runs and six hits. The right hander is second on the team in innings pitched (48.2) and third on the squad in strike outs (41). Errigo ranks sixth in program history with 187 career strike outs.
