A trip to Maryland for the 2011 KICKS Against Breast Cancer tournament will highlight 2011 Stony Brook University women's soccer spring schedule as announced by head coach Sue Ryan today.
The Seawolves take on two Big East opponents this Saturday in Queens. Stony Brook will take on St. John's at 10 a.m. and Villanova at 11:30 a.m.
Following the contests against Villanova and St. John's, the Seawolves will host Iona and Sacred Heart for a 7v7 tournament on April 3 at 12 p.m. Stony Brook will close the day with their annual alumni game.
Stony Brook then heads to the KICKS Against Breast Cancer tournament on April 9 for three games. The Seawolves will take on American, Navy and George Mason in the tournament, which will be held at the Maryland SoccerPlex.
SBU will wrap up the spring slate on May 1 at Marist. Stony Brook opened its spring with a 3-1 victory over a collegiate all-star team from Japan on Monday.
