STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Stony Brook baseball team looks to get back on track when with back-to-back midweek games by hosting Marist at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Joe Nathan Field before heading to Fairfield for a 3:30 p.m. first pitch on Wednesday at Alumni Diamond.

Scouting the Seawolves
- Stony Brook owns .266 batting average and a 4.90 team ERA.
- Sophomore LF Andruw Gazzola (Coram, N.Y.) leads the Seawolves with a .336 batting average. He also leads the squad with a .463 slugging percentage with 13 extra-base hits.
- Gazzola also enters the week riding a six-game hitting streak.
- Junior C David Real (Chandler, Ariz.) enters the week having reached base safely in 10 straight games.

Scouting the Red Foxes
- Marist is 18-18 overall and 9-6 in the MAAC this season. The Red Foxes are coming off a series loss at home to Monmouth.

Scouting the Stags
- Fairfield is 19-18 overall and 10-2 in the MAAC this season. The Stags are coming off conference series sweep of Saint Peter’s and host Sacred Heart in a non-conference midweek game on Tuesday.

- Senior OF Jake Salpietro leads Fairfield with a .345 batting average. He also leads the squad with seven home runs and 28 RBI.
