RICHMOND, Va. – Stony Brook senior pitcher Micah Worley has been named CAA Co-Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Worley delivered another dominant outing against Monmouth, which entered the weekend as the top team in the CAA North Division. In the first game of Saturday's doubleheader, he struck out 10 batters over 8.0 scoreless innings, allowing just four hits and one walk. The senior gave up only one extra-base hit and did not allow a runner to reach third base, while recording four 1-2-3 innings. The performance marked the longest start of his career and his fourth double-digit strikeout game of the season.

With the victory, the left-hander improved to 5-3 on the season and has now thrown 15.2 consecutive scoreless innings, totaling 23 strikeouts across his last two starts. He currently leads the team and the CAA in strikeouts (75), ranks second in ERA (2.13), third in opponent batting average (.185), and fifth in wins (5).

The Seawolves return to action Wednesday as they travel to Columbia to face the Lions at Robertson Field at Satow Stadium. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
