ALBANY, N.Y. -- A lot is at stake for the Stony Brook football team when they take the field against UAlbany at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Casey Stadium. The 10th-ranked Seawolves will be looking to retain the Golden Apple Trophy with a victory as well as possibly claim a share of the CAA Football title.
A Seawolves' (7-3, 5-2 CAA Football) win paired with a Maine loss at home to Elon would give Stony Brook a share of the conference title.
THE SERIES

Stony Brook and UAlbany will be playing for the Apple Trophy for the fourth time. The Seawolves claimed the first victory back in 2015 and won it again in 2017. UAlbany was able to keep the trophy in the capital city in 2016.
